We have allowed innate human abilities to lapse or fall into disrepair. These are the abilities that create magic, and the old masters used the meditative state of mind to strengthen these abilities. Learning to enhance these capacities is where your journey into the magical begins.
The old masters never used the word "meditation." This is understandable as their community predates the term. However, they didn't replace it with another word either; a meditative state of mind was their natural state. For them, to exist outside of a meditative mindset, as modern humans often do throughout their lives, was as rare as it is for a person to meditate in today's world. The conditions for the old masters were intentionally different.
A mind operating at slower frequencies connects an individual to heightened sensory abilities, making them more instinctual, clairvoyant, and attuned to the natural frequencies of their environment. This heightened state of consciousness is what we might consider more magical. The daydreaming state of a child is our natural condition, one that we are encouraged to abandon. The very existence of the word "meditation" in our modern vocabulary is a testament to the fact that we've created an unnatural society that compels us to forsake our potential and our connection to the cosmos in order to fulfill its artificial demands. So, as I describe these meditative practices, you should understand that these were techniques employed to deepen a state that was the ordinary state for the old masters.
I should note that society often places high value on alert, problem-solving states of mind, which unfortunately can lead to a significant amount of depression. If you examine the approved drugs in society, you can see why authorities favor them. Caffeine, for instance, enhances alertness, while alcohol inhibits profound questioning. Depression medications, which are often prescribed, have proven to be ineffective and can even exacerbate the condition. Moreover, nearly all sanctioned drugs today are addictive. So, what alternatives exist? Psychedelics. Psychedelics open doors to different states of consciousness and can liberate individuals from the grip of depression. Essentially, what the old masters were doing by making the meditative state their everyday state was akin to simulating the psychedelic states of consciousness constantly, with rare transitions into the alert state that we excessively prioritize today.
The old masters possessed direct knowledge that meditation is a state of calm watchfulness. This means a master of Fkri maintains a delicate balance between relaxation and alertness. Always, an ascended being guards against both excessive arousal leading to restlessness and excessive hypoarousal that results in drowsiness or even sleep.
A master should resist the temptation to disrupt this equilibrium. For instance, contemporary approaches to meditation often overemphasize relaxation while downplaying the stimulating or alertness-enhancing effects. However, the sensory nature of Ahpay Amah's meditations, where the master channels vibrations through their Vostes using touch, naturally encourages this balance. A master of Fkri is perpetually in this state of equilibrium, even when not actively engaged in meditation.
So, let's delve into the factors that may influence whether meditative states increase or decrease arousal, with a particular focus on experience, expertise, and contemplative progress. A master of Fkri is an individual who has grown accustomed to the path of meditative advancement. They possess direct knowledge that this path follows a nonlinear, multiphasic trajectory. In the early phases, which demand more effort, there might be increased fatigue and a propensity for sleep. In contrast, later stages promote heightened wakefulness due to neuroplastic changes and more efficient cognitive processing. A master knows how to maintain balance while performing Ahpay Amah meditations. They also understand how and why these meditations should be performed and possess the knowledge of when and when not to modify their design.
Introducing ancient meditative and ritualistic practices to a society grounded in Western values and worldviews carries the risk of significant decontextualization. People may divorce these practices from the original goals of ascension set by the old masters of Ahpay Amah. It is probable that this society will recontextualize this direct knowledge as a form of clinical intervention or as a means of psychological and physiological self-maintenance. This recontextualization is likely to lead to modifications of the traditional objectives of these practices.
While there is room for adaptation and evolution, there are certain core concepts that must be preserved to maintain the integrity of this direct knowledge. Once again, this direct knowledge relates to meditation as a state of calm watchfulness. It is crucial not to overemphasize or de-emphasize particular aspects of Ahpay Amah's principles to align them with modern needs and values.
You may notice that certain elements of these meditations have been tailored to align with modern values. Concepts of decency, driven by societal norms, can create an unnecessary barrier between the true intention of these meditations and the broader community, many of whom still grapple with self-consciousness. It's worth noting that if authorities can inculcate a fear of the body, they may seek to exert control over it. Therefore, it's expected that there will be a predictable censorship response to this aspect of the meditations.
However, this isn't the only obstacle imposed by modern values on these meditations. In some contemporary interpretations, the meditation's objective has expanded beyond achieving balance to include attaining a state of consciousness deliberately poised halfway between wakefulness and sleep. This technique, as you will come to understand through the cosmic gharaharūs ritual, facilitates the transfer of one's consciousness into a less physical form. The old masters didn't originally intend it as a form of meditation, although it incorporates elements of meditation for a distinct purpose.
In conclusion, it's vital to comprehend and respect how and why these meditations were originally practiced by the old masters. Remember, an ascended being maintains balance, guarding against both excessive arousal that leads to restlessness and excessive hypo-arousal that leads to drowsiness or sleep. With that in mind, let's explore these techniques we now refer to as meditations.
